I have never been on a sewing machine. Will this course suit me ?
Absolutely ! This course is design specifically for you. It takes you through picking out a sewing machine, threading it and taking your first stitches. By the end of the first drop, you will be sewing three beginner friendly sewing projects.
How long will the course take me ?
Depending on how much time you dedicate to the online course each week, beginners typically take 2 hours a week for 5-6 weeks for each drop.
Although this is a “beginner” course, it is perefct for those sewists out there that want to touch up on thier sewing skills. This course goes into detailed written and visual tutorials that explain not only the HOW but the WHY each sewing technique is done. This is a great way to touch up your sewing skills through a structured program.

Defiantly, in this course you learn about the practical and actionable steps that go into sewing your own clothes. Sewing seams, clipping curves and pressing are all covered across the modules along with everything you will need in your sewing tool kit to sew your own clothes.

Absolutely, sewing is a lifelong skill that we can also have as a hobby. Making our own clothes or soft furnishings, sewing is a great way to meet new people, going the sewing community and learn some new sewing skills along the way.
